Service work performed in the Coast Guard Base in Dartmouth, NS

Cores Worldwide Inc. was contracted to perform a major overhaul on 1 of the 5 main engines. The project required CORES to send servicemen, tools and equipment to the Coast Guard Base in Dartmouth. CORES disassembled 1 main engine, removed the crankshaft and bedplate and reconditioned all parts and major components on site. To facilitate the removal of the engine, a large access panel was cut into the side of the vessel to lift engine components through. The engine was reassembled and sea trialed. All work was completed on time and on budget.
